RESUMEN

A fines de marzo y principios de abril del 2017 en Comodoro Rivadavia, llovió 300 milímetros (mm) cifra que supera la media anual pluviométrica de 113 mm en la región. Entre las múltiples consecuencias se registraron cuantiosos daños domiciliarios y en la vía pública como pérdida total de la vivienda y vías de comunicación intransitables. Analizar los sectores afectados por el temporal a partir de las experiencias de la sociedad es el principal objetivo del trabajo. Los procedimientos metodológicos consistieron en sistematizar la base de datos, integrar los mismos, georreferenciar, reproyectar y digitalizar. Por último, se elaboró cartografía temática. Los principales resultados logrados consistieron en resaltar las áreas de mayor impacto ante el temporal, construir categorías síntesis y elaborar cartografía del desastre para la acción y gestión territorial.

ABSTRACT

At the end of March and beginning of April 2017 in Comodoro Rivadavia, it rained 300 millimeters (mm), which exceeds the annual rainfall average of 113 mm in the region. Among the multiple consequences, there was a lot of home and public road damage as total loss of the house and impassable communication routes. Analyzing the main sectors affected by the storm based on the experiences of society is the main objective of the work. The methodological procedures consisted of systematizing the database, integrating them, georeferencing, reprojecting and digitizing. Finally, thematic cartography was developed. The main results achieved consisted of highlighting the areas with the greatest impact in the storm, building synthesis categories and preparing disaster cartography for action and territorial management.
